Let’s Talk About Wedding Themes

Here at T4S, we find themes to be a really fun and inspiring way to put a twist on traditional wedding elements. When it came to Chris and Shannon’s shared love of art, it was an easy selection for their theme. Here’s a few ways we tied it into our wedding:

After deciding on art, our minds immediately went to *gallery wall*. So, we created a gallery wall for the escort display using vintage mirrors and art that matched our color pallet. We then had this beautiful quote custom made with gold acrylic to tie it all together.

Speaking of quotes, we then used other art quotes on mirrors throughout the space for more subtle nods to the theme.

We used additional art pieces on easels around the room to fill empty corners and add warmth and design.

For the guestbook, we created a twist on the classic Polaroid guestbook by adding a painting element to it. The guests could “paint a picture or snap a picture”, and most ended up doing both!

For the table numbers and other small signage we painted wooden paint pallets white and used gold vinyl for the text for an elevated look and feel.

The cake was created with Shannon’s signature painting style, watercolor and gold leaf, and framed by two pieces of art from her late grandmothers home for an extra special. touch.

Last but not least, Shannon hand painted mini canvases for each guest using the colors from the color pallet and her signature gold leaf accents. These doubled as her seat assignments with name flags attached to the easels.

If you have a great idea for a wedding theme, we always recommend going for it! And, if you need some help bringing it to life in a sophisticated way, we are here to help!
